概要

This course provides the basics concepts in natural products chemistry. The book written by Paul Dewick will be used a textbook. Additional topics will be selected in others books. Students will learn technical knowledge related to the drug development process from natural products.

目標

To understand the use of herbal and natural medicines in the human history. To understand the technics used in the isolation and elucidation of active secondary metabolites. To identify the lead compound for drug development.
