概要

Contents: (1) physical and chemical processes in matters induced by incidence of high-energy radiations such as electromagnetic waves, electrons and ions, (2) radiation dose and its measurements, (3) radiation protection, and (4) radiation chemistry in matter or biological tissues. Instruction: Lectures and quizzes. Outline: To study radiation interactions with matters and to acquire problem-solving approaches to use radiations that is ubiquitous in the real world (Curriculum Policy 4.).

目標

Understanding microscopic elementary processes caused by radiation interaction with matters based on physics and chemistry. A systematic understanding for macroscopic phenomena on matters and organisms caused by irradiation. Getting ability to use radiations for Materials and Life Sciences based on quantitative discussions (Diploma Policy 3.)

授業外の学習

Reviews of lecture, exercise (REPARATION: require approx. 70 min. for each) Review the topics in the last class and understand relations with other topics. Question of the last reaction-paper will be explained at the begging, so it should be reviewed prior to the class. (REVISION: require approx. 120 min. for each) Derive equations by yourself and review calculations.
