概要

This course will cover the basic aspects of organic and natural product chemistry. The class will proceed using a text book (Chapter 8, 9, 11, 12, 13) that used in the class of "Organic Chemistry". Some examples of natural products will also be introduced. Students will learn technical knowledge including chemistry related courses.

目標

To understand basic concepts of organic and natural product chemistry. To understand the phenomena of organic reactions based on principal theory in chemistry. This course corresponds to the item 3 in the diploma policy.

The students are expected to read several chapters of the book and solve some problems before and after the class (95 min each).
