概要

This is a specialized subject for Green Science course students. The course requires students to have a basic knowledge of the biological sciences and introduces more specialized knowledge in the field from a variety of perspectives. In this course, conductors from the biological sciences will give their lecture on the fundamentals and current topics in each conductor’s research field. This is a Department Specialized Course for Green Science course students. Students will obtain the important information to help them decide which research area to pursue in the future. This course follows Curriculum Policy 4.

目標

Course Objectives and Learning Goal: This course is based on the knowledge and skills that students have already acquired and gives them the awareness they need to master new knowledge and skills within themselves. Understanding life phenomena requires multiple perspectives, and students are expected to learn a variety of scientific perspectives by being exposed to different ideas based on the conductor's experience. Students are also expected to obtain the ability to contribute to solving science and engineering issues in applied and emerging research fields and actual society, and the creation of high-performance biomaterials and bio-inspired materials. 1) Understand some of the interesting life phenomena that have occurred in recent years. 2) Understand how multiple perspectives are needed to understand these life phenomena. 3) Understand how to develop interest in life phenomena into research activities.

授業外の学習

Pre-study (approx. 90 min) The topics of each session will be explained in the first class, so students should summarize the knowledge of each topic in reference books, etc. Review (approx. 100 min) Review and organize your notes on what was covered in the lecture, and contact each conductor directly through moodle to resolve any questions you may have.
