概要

Students have learned a variety of fundamental knowledge in a number of lectures. In this seminar I, by reading specialized books and literature, students will acquire more advanced knowledge and state-of-the-art research that are necessary to perform their graduation research projects. In addition, student will deliver presentations to deepen their understanding of new knowledge and also cultivate their communication skills with other researchers. According to our curriculum policy, students will master basic research and scientific skills and improve their ability to apply and practice what they have learned.

目標

Students will acquire detailed knowledge and skills to achieve their graduation research projects. In addition, students will develop and enhance the communication ability as a scientist through in-class presentation and discussion. According to our diploma policy, students will acquire new perspectives of materials and life in harmony with nature through investigations of life phenomena, creation of new materials, and technological development.

授業外の学習

Before attending each session, students are required to read and study materials provided by the supervisor and understand the contents thoroughly. If necessary, carry out preparation of abstract/handouts. Other instructions may be given by the supervisor. Preparation (prior understanding of lecture content) takes about 100 minutes and review (review of lecture content) takes about 90 minutes.
