Comprehensive evaluation is made on the basis of participation in research activities, research attitude and research progress. Seminar and exercise times designated by the laboratory are set and attendance at these is mandatory.

概要
Undertake research under the guidance of a supervisor. The student carries out the research under the guidance of a teacher and reports on the progress of the research. The aim is to deepen the students' knowledge of the research field through this process. In Graduation Research II, students actively develop their research based on the knowledge, techniques, etc. acquired in Graduation Research I, and submit the final research results as a graduation thesis and abstract and present the research results at a graduation research presentation. In this class, under the small-group education system in laboratories in accordance with Curriculum Policy 5 of the Department of Materials and Life Science and Engineering, students gain an understanding of cutting-edge fields, present their results, acquire the background of a researcher, and acquire the ability to apply and develop the theoretical and technical content they have learnt.
目標
The aim of this class is to acquire basic knowledge and skills in each research field through research, and to acquire logical thinking by investigating and thinking for oneself in the research process. In this class, students will acquire the skills equivalent to Diploma Policy 4 of the Department of Materials and Bioscience and Biotechnology.
授業外の学習
Conduct research activities on a full-time basis in accordance with the rules of the laboratory. The research is carried out by paying attention to safety and by carefully preparing and summarising the research. A summary of the research is carried out each time and its preparation takes about 80 minutes. If necessary, a review of the research, including reading the paper, clarifying and solving research problems, takes about 110 minutes each time.
