評価方法
その他
Preparation, tasks, experiment reports, notes, quizzes and comprehension tests are comprehensively evaluated. Students must attend the first class (guidance). In principle, late reports will not be accepted, and the corresponding assignment will be considered unfinished. Full explanation for grading will be given in the first class (must be present and on time). Absence for teacher training activities is not permitted.
詳細情報
概要
According to the curriculum policy (CP 2), to acquire the fundamentals of the natural sciences (chemistry, biology, physics) through coursework, to acquire the ability to contribute to the creation of substances. Includes lectures on experimental safety, methods of analysis, techniques. Active learning: students, individually or in small groups, interact closely with the instructors (who give feedback) and the experiments involve problem solving and groupwork.
目標
Follow the instructions of lecturers, RAs, TAs, and learn how to handle reagents and instruments. Mastering the fundamentals of experiments towards future use in lab classes and graduation research. Upon completion, students will have gained basic skills for research reports and presentations for graduation research, along with aspects of safety and ethics. According to diploma policy (Department of Materials and Life Sciences, DP3): The ability to systematically understand the fundamental of materials and life and contribute to the creation of substances ranging from atoms and molecules to polymers and living molecules as well as technology development.
授業外の学習
By the day before the experiment, read the textbook and write out the purpose, work procedure, notes etc. of the experiment. After completion of the experiment, summarise the notes and create a report for submission the following week in general. Failure to submit a report is considered as non-completion of that experiment. Preparation 135 min, Reports 135 min.
所要時間: 270 min
