概要
Solving an engineering problem involves a mathematical representation of the behavior of the system of interest, using variables, functions, and algebraic or differential equations. This process is called modeling. In particular, many modern system design techniques are based on models. In this lecture, the fundamentals of modeling will first be explained. Then, modeling of dynamic systems such as mechanical and electrical systems and automobile engines will be discussed. Besides, knowledge of controller design for system stabilization and optimization will be introduced.
目標
The objective of this class is to cultivate the skills necessary for mathematically analyzing and representing a system's dynamic behavior. Additionally, students will learn to identify design approaches for controllers that utilize these representations to achieve the desired behavior of the system.
授業外の学習
Assignments will be given after each class, focusing on the material covered. Students are expected to thoroughly review this content before the next session. It is recommended that students spend 100 minutes on review, as the next class will assume familiarity with the previous material, and spend 90 minutes previewing the next class.
所要時間: 190 minutes
