概要

Living organisms are composed of cells, cells are composed of molecules, and molecules are composed of atoms. In this course, you will learn the fundamental principles of life. According to the curriculum policy #1 of the Faculty of Science and Technology, students will acquire fundamental abilities to solve science and technology issues from a broad international perspective .

目標

By the end of this course, you will be ready to learn advanced biology, such as molecular biology and cell biology. According to the diploma policy of the Faculty of Science and Technology, students will the ability to solve, with a broad and international perspective, the various scientific and technological issues challenging today’s highly diversified society

授業外の学習

Students are expected to read Chapters 1-4 of "Essential Cell Biology (3rd edition)" before and after each lecture. It may take 100 min each for preparation and brush-up, respectively.
