概要

We read the book "Quantum Physics of Atoms, Molecules, Solids, Nuclei, and Particles". Students are expected to prepare presentations for explanation of assigned contents in the book in turn. There are frequent problems to solve in classes or at home. This course is conducted online and its details will be explained on the first day.

目標

Understand the structure and dynamics of atoms and molecules from the viewpoint of quantum mechanics. Also, understand the theoretical structure of quantum mechanics for solving simple problems on microscopic objects.

授業外の学習

Students are expected to read the chapters in the textbook in detail to be ready for presentations in the classes. There are questions and problems to be solved at home.
