概要
Thermodynamics is the study of thermal phenomena from a macroscopic perspective. The goal of this course is to understand the fundamentals of thermodynamic theory, which is based on the first law (conservation of energy) and the second law (principle of increasing entropy), and to learn how to use various thermodynamic potentials. Through the study of this course, students aim to gain a systematic understanding of physics and acquire the basic ability to solve various problems in science and technology from a broad and international perspective.
目標
・To understand the fundamentals of thermodynamics. ・To be able to solve specific problems by using thermodynamic constants and Maxwell's relations. ・Students will be able to contribute to the further development of science and technology, with the ability to solve scientific and technological problems faced by today's diverse society from a broad and international perspective.
授業外の学習
[Preparation] (Time required: ~80 min for each session) Preparation should be made with readings etc. in order to understand the contents of the lecture. [Review] (Time required: ~110 min for each session) Students will review the lecture content using readings and notebooks to understand the lecture content. In addition, students will work on exercises distributed several times to deepen their understanding of the lecture content.
