概要

毎週,生徒たちはMoodleで提供された教科書や追加の教材に従って,科学,技術,エンジニアリングに必要な語彙,フレーズ,および文法を学習しています。 授業は,読み,話し,聞くといった要素から成り立っています。 2つのユニットごとに,短いテストが行われます。 アクティブラーニング:グループでのディスカッションも行います。 この授業は英語で行われます。 *** Every week students are going to study vocabulary, phrases, and grammar that are necessary for science, technology, and engineering following the textbook and additional materials provided by the teacher on Moodle. The class consists of reading, speaking, and listening. After every two units, there will be a short test. Active Learning: discussions in groups *** The course follows curriculum policy 1 by acquiring qualities advancing globalization through English coursework.

目標

生徒たちは以下を行います: ・科学,技術,エンジニアリングに関する専門的な学術用語を理解し,使用すること ・文法の知識を活用して,適切な状況に応じて使うこと ・口頭表現の練習をすること *** Students are going to: ・get to know and use technical and academic language for science, technology and engineering, ・utilize grammar knowledge to pair it with the appropriate situation ・get speaking practice *** The course follows diploma policy 1, which is accommodation in advancements in globalization through language studies.

授業外の学習

授業後,学生は以下の学習活動を行うことが期待されています(合計200分) ・授業資料を読み,内容を復習する(60分) ・Moodleでクラスの内容に関するクイズに回答する(50分) ・指定された文学作品を読む(60分) ・次の授業のために単語を学習する(30分) *** After each class, students are expected to engage in the following study activities, totaling 200 minutes: ・Read and review the class material (60 minutes). ・Complete the Moodle quiz related to the class content (50 minutes). ・Read the assigned literature (60 minutes). ・Study vocabulary for the upcoming class (30 minutes).

  4. Unit 4 Processes. Describing one and two parallel processes. Expressing purpose.
  5. Unit 5 Descriptions. Describing use or function. Shape and appearance. Giving a definition.
  6. Unit 6 Procedures. Describing safety hazards. Explaining safety procedures and necessity. Brainstorming. Recommending actions. Giving directions to a locations and following them.
  7. Unit 7 Services. (discussion on safety and damage)
  8. Unit 8 Energy Describing motion. Presenting information orally. Wave power. Engines (actions in sequence, simultaneous actions). Cooling and heating
  9. Unit 9 Measurements. Sport data. Fractions and percentages. Expressing approximation. Describing sensors. Explaining forces. Positioning. Expressing calculations and measurements.
  10. Unit 10 Forces Stating objectives. Describing properties of materials. Resistance to force. Marking stages of a presentation Explaining results
  11. Unit 11 Design 1. Working robots: Expressing strengths, weaknesses. Making suggestions.
  12. Unit 11 Design 2. Eco-friendly planes: using a design brief. Free-flying sails: Making stages of a presentation.
  13. Unit 12 Innovation 1. Zero emission. Explaining needs. Technological change. Describing historical and contemporary processes.
