MASTER'S THESIS

概要

Thesis Seminar is designed to guide students to complete their master’s thesis in their graduating semester. Through regular individual or small group meetings, students will receive necessary advice to conduct effective research, to structure their argument, and to compose/edit the thesis (including appendix, bibliography, and illustrations) for completion. Students will also receive instructions and advice to prepare for the Thesis Defense toward the end of the semester. Advising for the Thesis will take place in person. Students should be sure to contact their advisor at the beginning of the semester to discuss the plans for their project and to set up a schedule of weekly meetings.

目標

The objective is to guide students in writing an MA thesis.

授業外の学習

Students should expect a heavy workload throughout the semester. Successful completion of the thesis and the oral defense will depend upon careful research, planning, and writing over an extended period of time.

所要時間: 300-400 minutes per week on average.
