概要

This is a master course level of quantum physics and subatomic physics for graduate students in Green Science and Engineering course. The topics cover an introductory level of quantum mechanics, special relativity, and physics of subatomic particles such as hadrons (nucleons and mesons) and elementary particles. This course follows the Master's curriculum policies 1 and 2, which is to develop a clear vision of environmental science and engineering from the aspects of natural sciences and provide the hands-on knowledge of the cutting-edge technology on environmental sciences and engineering.

目標

The objective is to understand basic aspects of our building blocks of matter and their application to properties of hadrons and elementary particles.

Reading relevant parts of textbook/references before each lecture (90 minutes per class) Solving some exercises for comprehensive understanding of topics covered in the class (100 minutes per class)
