概要

This course includes three fields in mechanical engineering, Precision Engineering, Material Science, and Control Engineering. Basic to medium level of lectures on each field will be proviced. The topics in the lecture will be as follows: structure of materials, basics of dislocation theory, machining process, precision measurement, basics of control theory, and feedback control. In the fall semester of 2020, it will be conducted online. The initial guidance can be real-time, interactive and interactive using Zoom or on-demand using Moodle. The meeting IDs and passwords for Zoom will be posted on the Loyola "class bulletin board" at least one week before the first class.

目標

The objectives are to gain wide knowledge on the fields lectured.

授業外の学習

Preparation and reviewing of the class is required. Spend 1 hour for the preparation, and 2 hours will be necessary to fully understand the subject of the lecture.
