概要
This course will be given by two instructors. This course corresponds to curriculum policy (CP) 1. 1. [Kuze] Broad applications of atomic and molecular spectroscopy for scientific research, industry and in commercial devices. Quantum mechanical treatment related to atomic and molecular energies. Global observation of the Earth using spectroscopic methods. 2. [Usuki] Chemistry of natural products is one of the distinct research fields in organic chemistry. The classes devoted to this theme cover introduction, extraction/isolation, and total synthesis of naturally occurring organic compounds.
目標
The course aims to allow students to obtain basic knowledge of spectroscopy and organic chemistry. Students will learn how these themes are applied to green science and contribute to the development of science and technology. The lectures mainly present applications from the viewpoint of chemistry, such as observation of the Earth's atmosphere and natural products.
