概要
Students will read state-of-the-art academic articles and present their contents. Then, the contents of the articles will be discussed with other students and instructors. In addition, students will also discuss "how can we apply output of our basic researches to solve the problems in our societies?" The contents of this course correspond to Curriculum Policy 1 and 2 in the field of biological science. Students will learn the highly specialized knowledge and technical theory required to compile master's thesis through the discussion of articles.
目標
The purpose of this course is to acquire advanced knowledge suitable for level of master's degree. Also, students will acquire ability to correctly explain specialized contents of their own researches and scientific articles to other researchers with different academic background. In addition, students will learn the approaches to apply scientific knowledge and skills to improve human societies. Purpose of this course corresponds to Diploma Policy 1 and 2.
授業外の学習
Read the books and literature provided by your supervisor ahead of time to thoroughly understand the content of each lecture (60 min).After the lecture, review the material covered and clarifying any areas of uncertainty (70 min). Furthermore, students should consistently prepare for the presentation of the literature's contents which are related to their own research project(s) (60 min).
