SEMINAR IN GREEN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING 1B

概要

This tutorial/exercise is designed to guide students to promote their master's study and compose their master's thesis. Students will decide their research theme under the supervision of the adviser, report on the progress of the study at regular meetings, and receive necessary advice to complete the thesis through discussions. Student will conduct research on a specific theme; and therefore acquire profound professional knowledge of their theme in a broad context and learn about research procedures, organization and ethics. (Curriculum Policy #2 of Information Science Division) Taking the method of informing and submitting assignments using Loyola and Moodle as an online lesson as well as interactive communication using Slack.

目標

The aim of this tutorial/exercise is to learn the basics of researches in the master degree. Students will learn to acquire acquire expertise that enables one to independently play an active role at the forefront of Information Science and associated fields as well as to creatively conduct research and development that will contribute to human evolution and wellbeing. (Diploma Policy #2 of Information Science Division)

授業外の学習

[Preparation: About 8 hours of reading and understanding of literature and papers. After that, summarize the contents in the presentation materials. Students are expected to spend about 8 hours to prepare for the presentation. [Review] Time required: about 40 minutes for each session.
