概要

This course deals with both the theoretical and practical aspects of designing thesis research. This course aims to assist students in reviewing existing researchs, and organizing the contents of the proposed thesis. The objectives are as follows: 1. Rreviewing existing contributions. 2. Conducting the research projects related to their dissertation topic. 3. Prganizing the content of thesis. 4. Writing the thesis. Students will conduct research on the theme proposed in the spring semester; and therefore acquire profound professional knowledge of their theme and learn about research procedures, organization and ethics.

目標

The objective of this course is to acquire the ability to multidimensionally identify how system and control technology can impact human society and the global environment, and the ability to develop new technologies and explore new fields. Students read research literatures and a selected book and then have a group discussion. Students will finish the dissertation writing.

授業外の学習

Search for and read related research papers. Summarize paper contents. Learn about software and programming language. Conduct programming, calculation and summarize calculation results and so on.

所要時間: Create consultation materials (90 minutes) Conduct research after class and summarize results (100 minutes)

  1. Discuss the organization of the thesis, and select references for reviewing with supervisor.
  2. Determine research subject by discussing it with supervisor.
  3. Problem formulation
  4. Controller design
  5. Modeling of control plant
  6. Validation of modeling result by computer simulation.
  7. Check simulation results.
  8. Adjust model of control plant
  9. Validation of modeling result by computer simulation.
  10. Experimental validation (1) : Programing
  11. Experimental validation (2): conducting experiment test
  12. Experimental validation (3): Check and summarize of experimental results
  13. Experimental validation (4): Adjust experiment method and conduct experiment repeatedly.
  14. Experimental validation (5): Check and summarize of all experimental results
