概要
To compile Master's thesis, skills for academic writing and presentation as well as advanced knowledge and skills for researches are required. In this course, students will learn important techniques for biological researches. The techniques introduced in this course can be employed to analyze a broad range of biological phenomena including processes targeted in student's researches (Curriculum Policy 2). In addition, students will learn how to prepare materials for academic writing and presentations.
目標
Students will acquire the principles of techniques that can be employed in their own researches. The knowledge of these advanced techniques is required to suggest new hypothesis for the associated research field, leading to exploration of new fields (Diploma Policy 2). In addition, students will acquire skills of academic writing and presentations that are required for publications and presentations in conferences.
授業外の学習
Students will be required to read various articles of biological researches employing new experimental techniques and prepare materials for their own research reports (15 hours). Students will be required to organize data of their own research and prepare materials for presentation. In addition (each 2-3 hours).
