概要

To compile Master's thesis, advanced knowledge and skills for the expertise associated with the researches are required. In this course, students will mainly learn techniques for biological researches which were not introduced in "MASTER'S THESIS TUTORIAL AND EXERCISE 1A and 1B". The techniques introduced in this course can be employed to elucidate a broad range of biological phenomena including processes targeted in student's researches (Curriculum Policy 2).

目標

Students will acquire the principles of techniques that can be employed in their own researches. The knowledge of these advanced techniques is required to suggest new hypothesis for the associated research field, leading to exploration of new fields (Diploma Policy 2).

授業外の学習

Engage in full-time research activities adhering to the laboratory protocols. Conduct research with utmost attention to safety measures, meticulously preparing and summarizing findings along the way. Read the books and literature provided by your supervisor ahead of time to thoroughly understand the content of each lecture (60 min). After the lecture, review the material covered and clarifying any areas of uncertainty (70 min). Furthermore, students should consistently prepare for the presentation of the research progress and the contents of literature related to their own research project(s) (60 min).
