概要
Students should carefully peruse various literatures focusing on environmental stress responses in plants to acquire deep knowledge required for their own research. In addition, students will learn important approaches to proceed their own researches and to properly summarize take home messages of researches (Curriculum Policy 2). Students will be also required to continue their own researches and read new research articles associated with biological experimental techniques.
目標
The purpose of this course is same as "MASTER'S THESIS TUTORIAL AND EXERCISE 1A", acquisition of abilities that are essential to explore new research fields. (related to "Diploma Policy 2"). Students will acquire ability to discuss the results of their own research, state new hypothesis and generate new ideas for the next approaches to deeply address important questions for plant biology. In addition, students will learn strategies to test new research hypothesis.
授業外の学習
Engage in full-time research activities adhering to the laboratory protocols. Conduct research with utmost attention to safety measures, meticulously preparing and summarizing findings along the way. Read the books and literature provided by your supervisor ahead of time to thoroughly understand the content of each lecture (60 min). After the lecture, review the material covered and clarifying any areas of uncertainty (70 min). Furthermore, students should consistently prepare for the presentation of the research progress and the contents of literature related to their own research project(s) (60 min).
