MASTER'S THESIS TUTORIAL AND EXERCISE 2B

概要

Study under the guidance of the supervisor, establishing the research theme. Students conduct research while receiving guidance from supervisor and prepare research reports on the results. Through that process, the purpose of this class is to deepen the academic knowledge of the research field. Master's thesis tutorial and exercise 2B is positioned in the curriculum policy as "to conduct research on specific subjects, gain deep expertise on this subject and its surroundings, learn about research progress, summarize method, research ethics etc based on environment and sustainability of science and technology (CP2)" , carry out research on the advanced subjects.

目標

Among diploma policies, students acquire expertise that can be used at the cutting edge in relevant fields according to the environment and sustainability of science and technology, and create creative research and development that will contribute to exploration of truth and human development and happiness (DP2). Specifically, the following two points are important: 1) Learn advanced knowledge and skills through research. 2) To acquire logical thinking in the process of research.

授業外の学習

In accordance with the laboratory rules, students conduct full-time research while taking safety and health into consideration. Depending on the research content, at least 10 hours of experiment per week may be necessary at minimum. Also, for the interim reports, it takes about 15 hours each time to prepare the reports.
