防災・減災と社会環境

概要

災害は社会環境によりその様相を大きく変えるという考え方に立脚し,今後起こり得る大災害に個人としてどう立ち向かうかに加えて,自治体や企業において防災・減災あるいはリスクマネジメント・BCP等を実務として担当する際に基礎となる知識と考え方の習得を目指す。授業は,講義を中心としつつ,講義に関するテーマについて自ら調べ考えをまとめる小演習を行う。講義は日本語で行うが,質疑応答やレポート等は英語でも構わない。/Based on the idea that disasters greatly change their appearance depending on the social environment, this lecture aims at not only obtaining the basic knowledges and ideas how individuals can tackle various disasters, but also gaining practical knowledges such as disaster prevention/mitigation manners, risk management and BCP when working at governmental organizations and private companies. Classes will be given mainly by lectures. Small exercises of themes related to the lectures will be provided at the end of each lecture. Lectures are given in Japanese. However, English is also accepted for Q&A and reporting.

1)過去の災害の特徴とそれによる社会環境の変遷の理解 2)復興のまちづくりの特徴と課題の理解 3)防災・減災業務やリスクマネジメント・BCP業務に関する基礎知識の習得 4)個人や組織の一員として災害発生時に自ら考え行動するものの考え方の習得 / 1)Understand the characteristics of past disasters and the changes in the social environment caused by them. 2)Understand the characteristics and important issues of reconstruction from heavily damaged local communities by disasters. 3)Acquisition of practical knowledge on disaster prevention/mitigation work, risk management and BCP, etc. 4)How to think and act on your own in the event of a disaster as an individual and a member of organization/company.
