概要
Sustainable tourism is on demand and also becoming a necessity for locals who seek to preserve the environment around them. Students will learn through different cases of sustainable tourism, and brainstorm to implement new models with this course, learning from real life cases in Japan. The course will take place in workshops in September thru November. Students must be able to attend all the workshops.
目標
To understand the principles of Sustainable Tourism and the limitations to the application of sustainable tourism through the study of textbook materials and case studies.
授業外の学習
Students are expected to read reference literatures and to conduct field surveys for the urban and rural test sites using Internet and acutall visits.
