概要

このコースはテスト研究に全く知識のない初めての受講者を想定しテストの作成,開発,実施について基礎的な実践的知識を提供することを目的としています。「言語テスト1」を履修は前提としていません。 The purpose of the course is two-fold: the first purpose is to help you acquire the basic notions of language assessment, and the second is to help you become able to employ them in your language classroom at school. By so doing, it is expected that the knowledge and skills that you acquire will help your learners learn in better ways than otherwise. The basic tenet that runs through the course is that the teacher’s assessment practice should serve as an instrument for enhancing learning and teaching rather than just for measuring students’ achievement and proficiency. The ultimate goal of the course is to render abstract ideas about the quality of good language assessment into practical terms, so the participants may put into practice in their daily teaching. The course will proceed stage by stage, following the entire assessment construction process.

目標

By the end of the course, the students will deepen their understanding about the following areas. このコースの目標は次の通りです。 a) Understanding the theoretical bases that underline the testing of a language 言語テストの基本原理を理解する b) Acquiring the skill of designing a test/an assessment based on blue-prints/ test specification テスト・評価設計のためのテスト細目(青写真)を作成する技能を身につける c) Understanding specific notions related to testing language skills.言語テスト作成のための基礎概念を理解する d) Acquiring the knowledge about basic statistics for understanding the meaning of test scores to improve teaching and learning テスト得点を理解し,学習・指導に役立てるための基本統計の知識を身につける

授業外の学習

You will be asked to bring sample test papers, including the ones that you produced on your own and carried out to your own students, the ones that you have taken as test-takers or the ones that you have produced to carry out to your students but not yet sure of their quality. We will examine them and discuss the assessments as to understand how to render them to be serviceable to students’ learning. You will be asked to draw up a blueprint for developing your own assessment in your own context. 授業では自分の受けたことのあるテストや作成したテストを振り返り,批判的に検討し,よりよりテストと評価のあり方を検証します。

所要時間: 190 minutes
