概要
このコースでは市民社会の一部である社会運動を中心に研究枠組みと理論を検証する。社会運動理論の基礎的文献を参考にしながら,最近の社会運動論の事例研究に関する論文も輪読する。/In this course we will review basic theoretical approaches towards social movements. We will also read articles on social movement theory and empirical case studies on this topic.
目標
社会運動論の基礎概念を身につけて,事例研究への様々な最新のアプローチを知る。/Acquire basic concepts and theoretical frameworks of social movement theory.
授業外の学習
論文は英文を使うことが多い。参加者は授業前に論文を読み,一人がその内容を紹介し,その後,内容について議論をする形を取る。/Reading assignments will mostly be in English. Participants are required to read assignments before the course and present the outline of their assigned reading during the course and take part in the following discussion.
