概要

On this course, you will apply the study skills you developed in Academic Communication 1 to study an academic subject or topic. You will be able to deepen your understanding about a topic and further develop your knowledge, language and critical thinking skills. You will use Inquiry Based Learning to explore assignments about your identity and personal narratives. By the end of the course, you will have thought, written and presented work about your own life experiences.

目標

On this course, you will use the skills you learned in AC1 to listen and read about a particular topic which will be covered in class. You will also be able to talk and write effectively in English about what you have learned. You will be guided to think academically about the topic with a focus on critical thinking. You will explore how to locate and express your personal second (or third) language voice. Over four assignments, you will enhance language proficiency by developing a deeper understanding of your own personal stories and the stories of others.
