概要
On this course, you will learn the English you need to study effectively in an international academic environment. The course is offered at Elementary level. The language of instruction is English. You will learn how to study effectively using all four skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will produce your own written and oral work in connection with the topics dealt with in class. This class will be held both in-class and on-demand. このコースでは,国際的でアカデミックな環境で,効果的に学習するための英語を学びます。授業は初級レベルで行われ,クラス内での使用言語は英語です。リスニング,スピーキング,リーディング,ライティングの4技能を使い,効果的に学習することを学びます。授業で扱ったトピックをもとに話し,エッセイを書きます。 この授業は対面とオンディマンドの組み合わせで行われます。
目標
On this course, you will use the skills you learned in AC1 to listen and read about a particular topic which will be covered in class. You will also be able to talk and write effectively in English about what you have learned. You will be guided to think academically about the topic with a focus on critical thinking. このコースではAC1で学んだスキルを使って,授業で扱うトピックについて話を聞き,記事などを読みます。こうして学習したことについて効果的に話し,またエッセイにまとめます。また扱われるトピックについて学術的に,かつ批判的に考える技術も学びます。
授業外の学習
Based on the content of the syllabus and textbook materials, students will be asked to preview/review the lessons. Homework in connection to the lessons will be given every week. シラバスの内容や教科書資料をもとに,授業の予習・復習をしていただきます。 レッスンに関連した宿題が毎週出されます。
