国際協力方法論*

概要

*This subject is a university-designated English course (a subject available to international students). Depending on whether or not an international student is taking the course and the level of English proficiency of the student, the instructor in charge will provide support such as summarizing the course in Japanese, and respond accordingly to the student's English proficiency. The first step in working in developing countries is accessing evidence-based information and accurately understanding and appreciating the local situation. The foundation is also the building of equal partnerships and relationships of trust that take into account the standpoints of the parties involved. It is also important to have knowledge of different societies, health care systems, related laws and regulations, work regulations, educational curricula, and a broad understanding of culture, customs, religion, and lifestyle. This year, we are planning to hold interactive COIL classes with overseas universities such as Mongolia, Mexico, and the United States. Learn about strategies for sustainable development and self-reliance support for people involved, specific support methods, social resources, professional attitudes and knowledge acquisition, and necessary abilities. *In the COIL program, there is a possibility that the lesson plan (some class schedules and topics) may change due to coordination with the partner. *本科目は大学が指定する英語開講科目となっている(留学生が受講可能な科目)。留学生の受講者の有無や履修者の英語力レベルに合わせて,担当教員は授業内容に応じて適宜,日本語サマライズするなどサポートを行い,学生の英語力に応じた対応をする。開発途上国で医療協力活動をするためにはエビデンスに基づいた情報にアクセスし,現地実情を正しく理解・把握することが第一歩となる。また当事者の立場を考慮した対等なパートナーシップ構築と信頼関係が基盤となる。異なる社会,保健医療システムや関係法規,業務規程,教育課程に関する知識,文化,歴史,風習,宗教や生活に関する幅広い理解も重要となる。今年度の本科目では,モンゴルや米国などの海外の大学とのインタラクティブなCOIL授業を予定している。当事者主体の持続的発展と自立支援に向けた方策,具体的な支援方法,社会資源,専門職としての態度と知識の修得,必要な能力について学ぶ。 *COILプログラムでは,先方との時差,調整により,授業計画(一部の授業日程,トピックス)に変更が生じる可能性がある。

目標

1. Learn about basic information gathering methods necessary for working in developing countries. 2. Learn about the health and medical system, which is different from Japan's, laws and regulations related to health care, nursing work regulations, and educational curriculum for medical professionals. 3. Learn how to acquire knowledge about the culture, history, customs, religion, and life of developing countries. Four. Through discussions, participants learn about what is needed to support more sustainable development and self-reliance, based on information about past successes and failures. 1．開発途上国で活動するために必要な,基本的な情報収集の方法について学ぶ。 2．日本とは異なる保健医療システム,保健医療に関する法規,看護職の業務規程,医療専門職の教育課程を学ぶ。 3．開発途上国の文化,歴史,風習,宗教や生活に関する知識を獲得する方法を学ぶ。 4．過去の成功例,失敗例に関する情報から,より持続的開発,自立を支援を進めるためには何が必要となるかについて,ディスカッションを通して学ぶ。

Related literature, websites, etc. will be introduced during the lecture, so please reflect the results of your self-study in a concrete reaction paper. 講義時間内に関連文献,ウェブサイト等を紹介するので,自己学習した成果を具体的にリアクションペーパーに反映すること。
