概要
The course helps students to understand and study how media plays a very important role in promoting environment and environment related issues. The course includes studying different environment movement across the world and role of media. Some of the prominent environment movements include movement against global warming, earth day and films related to global warming; major environment related documentaries such as An inconvenient truth, Our planet etc. Students also will study important environment activists such as Rachel Carson, Medha Patkar, Greta Thunberg, among others. Besides, important case studies of environmental activism through media will be studied.

Students are expected to read the given resource material. Besides, they must watch important environment related documentaries and films and study major environment journalism case studies.
