概要

Only ENGLISH is used in this class. Focus will be given to the domestic and international news stories and TV news programs/bulletins across the globe to improve students’ listening/grasping ability. , i.e. to be able to listen to and understand news in English, especially broadcast news. Students will listen or watch news bulletins in English and discuss and summarize the stories.

目標

The objective of this course is to understand and critically discuss English-language news stories and familiarize with the terms frequently used in journalism.
