概要
In this seminar, students will work on multiple media research project concerning a specific sustainability topic. The concept of media literacy will be introduced and discussed along with five different analytical frameworks. Students will gather news reports and use different approaches to decipher the way news are gathered, structured, and framed. At the end, students will present their final research result on the state of journalism on that topic using the available data.
目標
The students will be able to 1. Understand key concepts of media literacy and their application, 2. Conduct various news content analysis on a given news topic; and 3. Present research results effective and meaningful ways.

Students will be expected to work on specific research assignment for each class.
