概要
(Intermediate ENGLISH is used in the class) Each class will focus on a different theme, reading the news in English/Japanese and analyzing the historical, political, and social background of the news. Students will also compare and contrast the contents of the news with other media. This class will emphasize not only reading the news in English, but also students' own analysis of international affairs and topics of global concern using news from international media outlets. *Each week in class, students will engage in group work, including reporting and group discussion.
目標
To understand current affairs using Japanese and English articles, news and programs. 日本語・英語記事・ニュース・番組を用いて時事問題を理解すること。
