概要

This course will focus on the 20th century history of Japan and Southeast Asia (SEA). Through relational or comparative perspectives, we will pay close attention to the history of each region. For this year, we will pay close attention to certain individuals and how they lived through each period. 20世紀の日本史と東南アジア史。日本や日本人の東南アジア関与にも触れますが,それぞれの地域の異なる展開も学びます。また,今年度は人物に焦点を当て,彼らがどのようにそれぞれの時代を生きたのかを見ていきます。

目標

This course aims to provide students with an overview of the historical development of Japan and Southeast Asia. In addition, I encourage students to develop their own perspectives on historical issues regarding Japan and Southeast Asia. 受講生は20世紀の日本史と東南アジア史の展開を把握し,様々な歴史問題に対する自信の見解を育むようになること。
