概要

This course will provide guidance for completing the graduation thesis / project and oral presentation. At the beginning of the semester, students will make an interim presentation of their graduation thesis summarizing the results of their research and writing during the Spring break. Students will complete their thesis based on feedback from other students and their thesis supervisor. Graduation thesis must be completed one week prior to submission. For Spring 2024, thesis submission will be on June 15, 2024 and the oral examination will be on July 13, 2024.

目標

Students will be able to complete a graduation thesis / project and give a concise presentation of its content. In this way, students acquire the basic competencies for conducting academic research.

Work on own thesis / graduation project and read other students' theses and give feedback to help in the writing process and learn in this process for one's own thesis writing.

Mock thesis oral examination with guest faculty
Lessons learned from feedback (L10 –> SPSF conference) and final rehearsal
