RESEARCH IN EDUCATION 1

概要

This course will provide guidance for the graduation thesis / project in the area of education and/for sustainability. The main aim is to develop a research plan, supported by a systematic literature review of your topic. In parallel, we will learn aspects of the research process including the use of theory, selection of methods, research ethics. We will critically review academic papers and graduation theses / project proposals. In addition, students will be challenged to incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives/ approaches learned from the SPSF program.

1. Develop a research plan for the graduation thesis / project. 2. Deepen understanding of the research process. 3. Write critical reviews of the literature and give peer feedback. 4. Incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives / approaches learned in SPSF.

授業外の学習

Weekly class preparation by reading the literature on your topic and preparing your critical literature review and presentation. In addition, read and provide feedback on the critical literature review of your classmates.
