概要
ポップカルチャーの形式及び分析方法を概説する。そしてラテンアメリカ,ヨーロッパ,東アジア(主に日本と韓国),中東及び東南アジアのポップカルチャーの視点からそれぞれの地域の特質を探る。 This course consists on explaining what is pop culture and how to do research on it, during the classes lots of pop culture products from different regions (Europe, Latin America, Asia and the US) will be used as examples of analysis.
目標
ポップカルチャーの様々な論理を通してそれぞれの地域のポップカルチャーだけではなく社会を理解するに近づくことである。 This course aims at making the students become able to not only analyze pop culture products and aspects, but also to rethink about social aspects through this analysis.
授業外の学習
予習として資料を読む必要ある。授業中では参加を求めることが多い。要するに授業中に居眠りしたり,携帯を使用することは望ましくない。 The student will be required to read some papers in order to preparation for classes. Since the students are supposed to participate during classes, it is advised not to sleep or use the cell phones.
