概要
This seminar focuses on cultural issues surrounding "minorities" in American society from the perspectives of race, class, gender, and sexuality. It helps students conduct their research using cultural history and cultural studies methods. In the fall semester, students will conduct their research projects by using the skills learned in the spring semester. There will be draft writings, peer readings, discussions and presentations for each student to complete a thesis by the end of the semester.
目標
The goal of this seminar is for students to complete a thesis. Throughout the course, students will be able to utilize the acquired skills in their own research projects.

Students are required to conduct their research and draft papers.
