概要
What makes a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) class motivating and critically stimulating for students? How can teachers design classes that results in deep, sustained learning of content and language? This course will explore these big questions through lectures and hands-on practice. Students will have the chance to apply learning theories to practice through 2 teaching demonstrations. Feedback and reflection will be an integral part of the course to ensure a supportive and meaningful learning environment where students can grow as teachers.
目標
By the end of the course, students will be able to… - Understand the principles of motivating and critically stimulating CLIL lessons - In groups, design and deliver 2 CLIL lessons based on the above principles - Give constructive feedback to classmates' teaching demonstrations - Reflect on one’s own teaching and grow as a teacher

- Students will complete written reflections to synthesize what they have learned from the lectures and teaching demonstrations. - Students will design, deliver, and reflect on their teaching demonstrations. - Students will give peer feedback on the student teaching demonstrations.
