概要
This course aims to develop students’ critical thinking ability through the process of research and writing. Based on the experiences during the last semester, students will write a longer research paper of 3000 words in English this semester. This course is designed to help students be more confident in writing a long research paper in English. *Students wishing to retake this course are required to email the instructor before the first class.
目標
This course has the following objectives: - To develop critical thinking ability through research and writing skills - To evaluate and analyze a variety of reliable sources - To clearly state your arguments with supporting evidence
授業外の学習
Students are required to complete weekly assignments before the class. These include the reading of assigned texts, reviewing of peer's drafts, and/or the writing of approximately 300 words each week.
