概要

Throughout this course, we will focus on building skills to critically examine and discuss academic texts and carry out effective academic presentations. Each student is expected to think, speak, and interact with classmates in English. Students wishing to retake this course are required to email the instructor before the first class.

目標

This course aims to improve students’ overall academic English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. By engaging various academic resources, students will be able to develop their critical thinking skills.

授業外の学習

Students are expected to read assigned materials prior to each session (30 mins). As for presentation, students are required to formulate their ideas, gather relevant information, and prepare for class activities in advance of each session (30 mins).
