ENGLISH SKILLS B-2【Bｸﾞﾙ-ﾌﾟ】*

概要

As a sequence to English Skills B-1, this course provides students with further opportunities to think critically about the issues of book challenges. Classes will consist of critical reading, discussions, group presentations, and/or writing. Also, students are required to make an individual presentation on the topic of their interest. Details will be announced on the first day of class. * Students wishing to retake this course are required to email the instructor before the first class.

目標

The goal of this course is to provide students opportunities to (1) improve proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking and (2) develop their critical thinking skills through various academic resources. Students will also be able to make academic presentations. Details of each session will be provided on the first day of class.

授業外の学習

Students are expected to read assigned materials before each session and prepare for in-class discussions/debates and other activities. As for individual/group presentations, students are required to gather relevant information and formulate ideas before each session to actively participate in class.
