概要
Through this course, students will continue developing their foundational skills to write academic essays in English. This semester, students will learn how to make a strong argument and articulate their points using supporting evidence. By the end of the semester, students will write a five-paragraph essay based on their research. Students wishing to retake this course are required to email the instructor before the first class.
目標
Through this course, students will be able to 1) improve foundational elements for effective academic essays, 2) acquire basic techniques to conduct academic research, and 3) develop critical thinking skills.

Students are expected to read assigned materials prior to each session (60 mins) and submit their weekly assignment on time (60 mins). (Total: 120 mins)
