CULTURES OF THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING WORLD 1【GHｸﾞﾙ-ﾌﾟ】*

概要

Using film and popular culture we will examine issues of society and culture in English speaking countries. The first semester of this class focuses on the experiences of childhood and adolescence. Students will learn about how culture is passed on to children through myths and ideologies as well as learning about the educational system in the US and UK. The course also involves a COIL component where Sophia students will work with students at US universities to complete various projects.
