ENGLISH SKILLS A-2【Bｸﾞﾙ-ﾌﾟ】*

概要

This course aims to provide students with the opportunity to engage in debate and content analysis research. Emphasis will be placed on oratory skills, critical thinking, and research skills. Active learning will be incorporated through small group discussions, pair-work, and submission of reaction papers. * Students wishing to retake this course are required to email the instructor before the first class.

授業外の学習

Students will learn how to do a formal debate in teams on controversial topics. Students will learn how to research topics to provide evidence for their arguments. Students will write a play script and perform the play at the end of semester OR work on a research paper doing original research (content analysis).
