Presentations, assignments, as well as various leadership and contribution activities will be included in the class participation mark. Active participation, professionalism, providing constructive feedback to other participants, and interest in academic research and its real-world applications are expected from students enrolling in the seminar. *Please note that the final report submission deadline will be in mid-December.

概要

This research seminar features a blend of cutting-edge management research from around the world, as well as examination of empirical cases related to Entrepreneurship and Organization Theory, including sub-topics such as Strategy, Innovation, International Business, and Sustainability. (Within this scope, students will also have a chance to propose and work on specific topics of interest.). Students will read academic papers and other materials, and present and discuss them in class, but the seminar will also have practical/actionable components, such as independent data collection, fieldwork research, and engagement with case studies.

目標

• Acquire advanced knowledge of selected topics in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Organization Theory. • Increase your skills in critical thinking, data gathering and analysis, academic writing, presentations, and communication. • Develop ability to produce a high-quality project-based seminar output that, depending on personal preferences, can take a more academic or a more practice-oriented forms – including a research paper, a case study of a business or organization of interest, etc.

授業外の学習

Participation in the seminar will require preparation such as completing the assigned readings, doing seminar assignments (including presentations), independent work on individual projects, etc.
