概要
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the research and theories in the area of organisational behaviour (OB) and to apply concepts to the real organisations. OB is the study of what people and groups do in organisations and how their behaviour affects the organisational performance. Most sessions will feature a lecture and in-class discussion on given topics related to compulsory and supplementary readings for each session. The class schedule may be subject to change depending on the circumstances.
目標
By the end of this course, students will be (1) familiarised with various theories and research in OB. (2) able to apply theories in OB into real-world cases. (3) able to suggest future strategic options that a company should take based on the knowledge obtained in this course.
授業外の学習
Students are expected to (1) be prepared for each class by reading assigned readings and working on individual assignment based on them, (2) actively participate in in-class discussion, and (3) prepare and present a group project at the end of the course.
