概要

This course aims at a deeper understanding of United Nations Millennium Declaration that contains an integrated and comprehensive overview of the current situation of developing nations. Based on data, we analyze the progress made in achieving the Millennium Development Goals through a comprehensive review of successes, best practices and lessons learned, obstacles and gaps, and challenges and opportunities, leading to concrete strategies for action during SDGs period of 2015-2030. This course would enable students to understand theoretical as well as the major goals of development that the international community is striving to achieve now.
