概要
In this class, students will learn the principle of satellite remote sensing. Research examples of environmental remote sensing will be introduced. A task regarding land cover map generation by using Google Earth Engine will be given. You would be asked to bring your laptop. For class in 2024, there is no group presentation task. The assessment will be done by a report submission based on your land cover map classification (GEE) result individually.
目標
This class aims to understand the principle of remote sensing as an environmental monitoring tool. Final report has goals to experience satellite-based data processing using GEE, to map a land cover types, and to deduce environmental meaning from the result.
